The croft is absolutely fantastic, a real home from home, beautifully restored with everything you need.
For anyone with young children, I'd recommend the Falls of Shin. Great playpark, great walks and great food. The swimming pool at Golspie is great if you unlucky to get a wet day!

We have had a wonderfully relaxing time - we didn't expect good weather at this time of year and we didn't get it! Kate and Ade have made every effort to provide every facility and have done a wonderful job in preserving a lovely building. They deserve success in this holiday cottage. We wish them well.

Bed was comfy and a delight to get in...mmmm. Bathroom was great - shed loads of towels and hot water! Kitchen totally great, cooked like a trooper! Loungy bit saw us sat drinking port, reading and watching snow outside, all cosied up... All is brill - we will be back! Thank-you!
P.S. Loads of stags to be seen on the road through Glen Loth.
John and Peggy, Essex.

A lovely peaceful place to take in the new year! Enjoyed a few walks in the area each day. We feel relaxed and are now ready to start the new year!! Once we get home we can look across the Moray Firth and have fond memories of our stay at "The Thatched Croft".

We've had a great time, although not long enough. Everything you could possibly need with the most fantastic view. Fish and chips at La Mirage was a great recomendation.
Hope to come back again sometime. Great to see how you have changed the cottage, absolutly fantastic.
Christine and Charlie, Great Strickland.

Thank you for creating and saving this place - the attention to detail and generous proportions are wonderful!
Otherwise, wide open skies, beautiful sunrises, starry nights and friendly chickens made for a great weekend.

Remarkable work in renovating/building this beautiful cottage. It was home away from home. Enjoyed the scenery and opportunity to meet Fudge and chickens while having a tour of the playhouse and trampoline.
Hospitality was excellent and friendly and the little extras made big impressions (milk, sugar, tea, coffee) will definitly recommend!

Time runs fast here. I could have spent much longer than a week in such a comfortable and beautiful house. I've particularly enjoyed having breakfast with that wonderful view out of the window. I'll recommend the place to my friends in Seville.
Nieves Méndez, Spain.

What a fab house - loved everything about it! Recomend a visit to the beach at Crakaig. We got a warm sunny day. Beautiful sandy beach with not a single person around. We even found some fossils!
Also enjoyed the wildlife cruise at John O'Groats. It was sunny and dry, saw many seals and a couple of the last puffins.
This cottage is in a beautiful location - go for a walk up the hill!
Mrs. Houghton, Annabel and Grandad.

We have had a fantastic time here - so restful and perfect home from home. Caught up on my Gunn family heritage, and visited some clearance villages. Must do is a drive through the Kildonan Strath to Kinbrace then take the track to Roseal - park and walk to the cleared village - can feel the history! Another must - Brora beach! Can't wait to come back!
Mr. and Mrs. Castle, Lanark.

We were pleasantly suprised to arrive in your croft. It is beautifully (and creatively) (re)built, we had a real 'home' here. We wish you many good years here and will probably come back sometime in the future!!!
Nice outing: Drive through Glen Loth (be lucky with the weather....)
